Studio Art 项目的亮点

项目概述

项目的亮点

A Different Kind of Art School — With a liberal arts foundation, high academic standards, and a University-wide dedication to thinking deeply and biblically, we are obviously not a typical art school. With small class sizes and professional, practicing teaching faculty who individually know and care for our students, we are obviously not your typical state school either. We are intentionally and enthusiastically different.

福音的重点 — As you study studio art, you will work alongside a passionate group of creative believers — fellow students as well as faculty members — who desire to impact the world for Jesus Christ through their calling as artists. The exposure to art and art-making within this creative community will define your materials, 改进你的手艺, and develop your unique artistic voice. We can’t wait to see what you have to say!

Outstanding Facilities — You’ll have the opportunity to learn and create in outstanding facilities, including the Tyler Digital Communication, Carnegie Center for Visual Arts, 和阿尔福德附件.

What Can You Do With a Studio Art Degree?

Our graduates sculpt and draw, paint and curate, photograph and design. Some are developing large followings through social media and have the online sales to prove it, while others choose to work and sell through more traditional galleries.

Many have gone on to earn advanced degrees, such as art education, 艺术治疗, or the Master of Fine Arts (MFA), and these degrees have opened doors for professional careers. Some work for large firms. Some remain their own boss. 和一些支持 their independent work through employment not directly related to their degree, understanding that there is often a direct relationship between sacrifice and success.

The details change, but the common thread remains the same: our graduates pursue the call of the Creator on their lives. What could be better than that?

Graduate and professional programs and employers welcome Cedarville University graduates each year. It is important to note that some professional career fields you may pursue require additional education, 经验, and/or licensure beyond the completion of your Cedarville University undergraduate degree.
